Our Focus

The dedicated, compassionate team at Drew Memorial Senior Behavioral Health Unit is focused on delivering patient and family centered care to the senior population with primary psychiatric diagnoses. Reflections provides comprehensive, individualized care for our patients to meet their psychological and physical needs. At Reflections, we understand that environment plays a significant role in our patients’ progress. With this in mind, our inpatient unit is specifically designed to provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere for effective treatment of older adults. Each patient receives an individualized plan of care that includes groups and activities designed to foster increased self-awareness, socialization, stress management, nutrition and exercise. The individualized plan of care is developed with the full participation of the multidisciplinary team.

Our Staff

Reflections is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including registered nurses with psychiatric experience and expertise, licensed social workers, licensed
counselors and others – such as occupational and physical therapists – working as a team under the direction of a board-certified psychiatrist. Additional
physicians may be consulted, as needed, for special medical needs of the patients. Through this coordinated effort, our program provides the support, structure
and professional expertise needed to help patients stabilize their condition and achieve their optimal level of functioning.
