Dr. Abid Mohiuddin is a board-certified Internist and Oncologist and has over 20 years experience healing patients with blood diseases and cancers. Dr. Mohiuddin is Diplomat American Board /ABIM certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He completed residency in John H. Stroger Hospital Chicago and also completed a dual Fellowship in Hematology at University of Wisconsin-Madison and Medical Oncology at UAMS. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
He has served in the faculty of Emory Medical School Atlanta, at UAMS as Assistant Professor and as Section chief of Veteran Health Care Systems of the Ozarks. He last served as Medical Director of the Arkansas Cancer Institute before he joined Drew Memorial where he provides individual, compassionate care to our patients with blood disorders and cancer. He plans to conduct educational programs on topics surrounding cancer awareness for our patients, their family, and our greater Southeast Arkansas community.
He visits the Cancer and Infusion Center on Mondays and Tuesdays, where he holds clinic and oversees Chemotherapy treatments.
